Star PST14 Description
Made of aluminum, the plates on the Star PST14 Pro-Max 2.0® panini press heat up quicker than units with cast iron or stainless steel plates, though they do not retain this heat as long. When the top plate is lowered, 3 inches of space between the plates accommodates large sandwiches and wraps. Because the spring-hinge system is heavy duty, it resists bending and breaking over time.
The Star PST14 sandwich grill operates from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, as analog thermostat controls enable users to adjust these temperatures. Resistant to oil and water, the conduit provides protection for electrical components. Because the body is made of stainless steel, it resists corroding, scratching, and denting, and the unit is elevated off the countertop by 1-inch legs to prevent overheating.
