Scotsman FS0522WX-1 Description
With a compact footprint and self-contained condenser, the Scotsman FS0522WX-1 Prodigy Plus® flake ice machine head is good for areas with limited space. Flake ice produced by this machine isn't great for chilling beverages, but it's excellent for blending into smoothies and margaritas, and can be packed into chilled buffets and grocery store display cases to keep food cold. Because this unit can produce 521 pounds of ice per day in optimal ambient conditions, this head is well suited for locations with fairly low volumes of traffic or only sell limited numbers of frozen beverages each day.
Inside the Scotsman FS0522WX-1 flake ice machine, antimicrobial treatment enhances its resistance to bacteria and mildew, featuring a stainless steel auger and evaporator for increased durability. With sealed bearings and one-touch cleaning activation, it requires minimal employee labor to operate, and the unit-specific QR code streamlines troubleshooting if maintenance is needed. Its air filter can be removed from the front and the refrigeration system is front breathing, enabling this machine to be installed with no side clearance.
