Hatco IWB-3 Description
Ideal for salad bars, food lines, or beverage bars, the Hatco IWB-3 ice well can be dropped in a cutout as large as 44 inches wide by 26 inches deep. This 45-inch-wide by 27-inch-deep by 12-inch-tall unit accommodates three full-size food pans (sold separately), and to complement other Hatco food wells, it sports an aluminized steel housing with a stainless steel interior and bezel. These simple-to-clean metals resist corrosion and are durable enough to withstand long-term front- or back-of-house use.
This Hatco IWB-3 drop-in cold well is chilled with ice to eliminate refrigeration and electrical requirements that can create installation and operational challenges. Once it's filled with ice, the unit's angled interior wall facilitates uniform cooling to blanket the food pans, while the insulated base and sides preserve temperatures and slow ice melting in warm settings. To simplify cleanup once ice melts, it's fitted with a 1-inch brass drain with a flat screen.
