Securing to a shelf with its four mounting tabs, the Hatco GRAH-48 Glo-Ray® aluminum infrared strip heater provides expansive heating above food display spaces. At 48 inches wide by 6 inches deep by 21/2 inches high, the unit is made of extruded aluminum that prevents sagging with its lifted design. The housing unit, which supports a single tubular heater rod, is insulated to minimize heat loss for ready-to-serve products.
The Hatco GRAH-48 commercial strip heater is a high-wattage model in the Glo-Ray series that has a prefocused heat pattern lining the holding surface, keeping temperatures consistent across the unit to prevent cold spots. Furthermore, its reflector won’t blacken to maintain a heat pattern that supports all areas beneath the mount. With these structures, foods is less likely to dry out or get overcooked. Underneath the heating element, protective wire guards help avoid damage from high temperatures.
