Delfield F2980CP Description
The Delfield F2980CP chef base accommodates eight 12-inch by 20-inch by 4-inch hotel pans in its refrigerated base. These pans are in accessible drawers that glide on Delrin® tracks, which require no grease, providing reliable operation with little maintenance. Additionally, these tracks hold tightly to the gaskets, creating a strong seal that keeps the drawers shut on uneven floors.
Temperatures in the base stay between 36 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit due to the R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and operators can adjust the level to suit the product. Balanced air and temperature control is provided by the mullion blower coils. Made of stainless steel, the top resists rust and scratches and a marine edge runs around the perimeter, keeping spills up and off the floor. This Delfield F2980CP low-profile chef base can be moved with its six-inch casters or secured to a flat surface using the included wall bracket.
