The Metro MQ-246074G-S-4 shelving kit is a durable storage solution consisting of four shelves attached to four posts. The posts are constructed of a durable polymer, while its shelves are made from a single piece of steel coated in an epoxy based resin—the minimal metal used in its construction ensures rust and corrosion resistance. When assembled, the full unit can support 2,000 pounds, while the individual shelves can hold 600 pounds on their own. When assembled, the unit occupies a space measuring 59 13⁄16 inches wide by 24 3⁄8 in. D inches deep by 74 inches high.
Built to maintain a high level of cleanliness, the Metro MQ-246074G-S-4 louvered shelf utilizes Microban antimicrobial protection to reduce the growth of bacteria between regularly scheduled cleaning. Each shelf comes equipped with liquid draining holes and can be broken down into smaller slats for the purpose of transport or cleaning using a dishmachine. If a dishmachine is unavailable or operators would rather keep the unit assembled, it can be cleaned using mild detergents and non-abrasive cleaning products like rags.
