Metro MAX4-1860G Description
Designed with a maximum capacity of 600 pounds, the Metro MAX4-1860G MetroMax® 4 Series polymer shelf can hold food, packaged products, and small equipment in restaurant kitchens. Its polymer composition prevents corrosion, so the shelf can withstand chemicals and moisture without damage. This shelf supports a temperature range between -20 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. During cleaning, it can handle 212 degrees Fahrenheit for a short period.
Removable, open-grid mats are included with the Metro MAX4-1860G shelf, and these 6-inch mats generate airflow while products are in storage. When the platform is in motion, the mats' 3⁄16-inch barriers on their edges secure products. Plus, the mats can be washed by hand or in a commercial dishwasher when needed. This shelf comes with four wedge connectors that fasten into the MetroMax's poles for stability and can be adjusted to accommodate different product types. Microban® antimicrobial protection is built into the shelf and its mats, and though individual shelves and mats can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher, the Microban works to fend off bacteria growth between cleanings. The shelf is interchangeable with MetroMax i and MetroMax Q shelves or can work alongside them.
