This material is safe at temperatures between -20 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and it resists damage from moisture and chemicals. This type of shelf is often used in walk-in units; the louvered design encourages air to flow around products to keep them evenly cooled. The shelf mat is removable, so it can be cleaned in the warewasher.
