KaTom Christmas Party '09

Snow

Friday, December 18th, was our employee Christmas party. An event you will hear about long before Christmas if it is your first year working here. It started out interesting enough. For an area of Tennessee that doesn't get much annual snowfall, it was a surprise when we found we would be attending the party during our second snowfall of the year.

The party lived up to its reputation. Everyone had a wonderful evening with their KaTom family. Enjoyed great food at a restaurant not too far from us. We went to Angelo's At The Point for this years celebration.

Paula and John

Shortly after everyone had arrived, in traditional Christmas fashion, a toast was made. I find it very hard to believe that in the years to come Patricia will be able to top this years toast though. If you were able to see the front page of the Citizen Tribune last week then you'll remember a picture of Patricia, the owner of the company, and Paula, her daughter and the Vice President of the company. During Patricia's toast this year she asked the room if we could name all three generations in the picture. It didn't take long to realize what she was saying. Paula is pregnant. Needless to say, the entire room was overwhelmed with happiness for her and her husband John.

So, Patricia, we all look forward to next years toast and wish you the best of luck in beating this. To Paula and John, everyone is extremely happy for you two, congratulations again! That being said, we are not even a little bit above blogging about you two for months to come.
