A MidWinter Veggie Lover's Dream
Sometimes, recipes are even better the more simplistic they are. Play around with the ingredients by adding your favorite seasonal veggies to the mix. Be your own sandwich artist. Feel free to post your comments or ideas for simple recipes on this blog.
- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 1/2 of an avocado
- Mixed spring greens
- Thinly sliced onions
- Olive oil
- Soy sauce
- Pepper
In a small mixing bowl, combine greens, onions, olive oil, soy sauce, and pepper to taste.
In a separate , smash avocado and spread onto whole wheat bread.
Top with vegetable mixture and enjoy nature's simplicity
