Love it !!

Color is more darker, but still beautiful shape. I really love this dutch oven set. I enjoy cooking with it. It makes me professional chef. I made roasted chicken and 4 small vegetable soup. This is easy cooking, but looks pretty and sophisticated. Also this dutch oven is easy to clean and cooking fast. Just you need space for storage.

beautiful coloring, great performance

I used my 7qt dutch oven to make black bean soup. I cooked the beans first for over 2 hours. Then, I cooked the other soup ingredients for over an hour. It works great...no interior staining and the pot keeps soup warm for hours after I've finished cooking. Also, the enamel coloring looks great on the table; makes for very pretty serve-ware.

Great 'form and function'!

I use Dutch ovens for cooking so many things. They are both functional (stove-top/oven/serving) and with the colors available very pretty too. This smaller one is just what I needed for everyday cooking for just my husband and myself. Because of its compact size, I will even be taking it in RV...I love it.

Pumpkin-o-licious!

I love my pumpkin shaped cocotte! I made sugar pumpkin soup in it for a small meal before the big feast on Thanksgiving day. It was a hit! And the cute pumpkin shape made my thanks giving table look so festive and professional. I highly recommend this product.

Staub Crepe Pan is makes perfect crepes

My husband ordered this Staub crepe pan a few years ago..after an uneven experience using my frying pan. At first, I thought it quite a luxury to spend $100 on a single purpose crepe pan. My husband has always been a big believer in the right tools. Once again, he proved himself right. The crepes NEVER EVER stick. They look gorgeous. Easy to flip. They are perfect every single time. Note: I read recently that the key to truly French crepe batter is to make it the night before to allow the flour to fully absorb. What a difference in the thinness that can be achieved. Love it.

Better than Le Creuset

I recently purchased a Le Creuset 6-1/2qt Doufeu but found it too big for some uses. I was looking for a 2-1/2qt doufeu when I stumbled on the 2.75qt cocotte. I'm SO glad I did. I use the cocotte a lot. The single handle is much better than double handle on the Le Creuset pieces. Forget the Crockpot, the cocotte works great as a slow cooker. I also find myself using this more than my Lodge cast iron skillet because of the higher sides. Not only does it do a great job in the kitchen it looks great in the dining room. The dark blue goes great with our Polish pottery.

The best Dutch Oven!

This size Dutch oven is perfect: Large enough to feed 6-8 people, but not so huge that it's impossible to lift. It's heavy, though: But the weight = quality and even heating! Staub pots are gorgeous to look at and a joy to use. I've gotten rid of my Le Creuset in favor of Staub pots. They're better in so many ways: black interior (also enameled - not raw cast iron!) performs perfectly and is a dream to clean after a quick soak; the basting spikes inside the lid; searing is excellent...and more. These are investment pieces that will get handed down, and are worth every penny (they even have a slightly lower price point than Le Creuset!). Katom's prices are currently the best available anywhwere, especially with free shipping!

beautiful enamel and a dream to clean

This is a rare item beautiful but well designed and a dream to cook and clean Food comes out so tasty in this enameled cast iron and there ARE differences in brands Staub has thicker enamel than the other major brand and the dark matte interior is far easier to clean from the start My bread fell out as if it were in nonstick and everything I have cooked tasted better than in my other high end cookware Believe the posts, food does taste better in enameled cast iron and Staub is better at it than most One day for one pot and the enamel is so beautiful so much more beautiful than others We love to look at this pretty pumpkin I was not big on orange but this is prettier than the pictures We have 3 other Staub cocottes and 2 LC and one MS and we use the Staub daily with joy Buy this pumpkin while you still can as it is no longer made
