Hobart ENERGY STAR Dishwasher Buyers' Guide

LXn & LXn Advansys Undercounter Dishwashers
Hobart's undercounter dishwasher is available in the base LXnC-3 low-temp and LXnH-2L high-temp models and in the more advanced LXNR-1 Advansys model. Built with a 17-inch door that eases access, these compact appliances are ideal for smaller spaces needing an efficient, high-powered dishwasher.
The base model includes a smart display, normal cycle option, delime notification, low-chemical alert indicators, a deep-drawn stainless steel tank, and a corrosion-resistant pump. With two dishracks and cycle times between 105 and 238 seconds, the LXn dishwasher can wash between 34 and 48 racks per hour and uses 5/8 gallons of water per rack. This dishwasher allows you to wash between 850 and 1,200 dishes per hour at 25 dishes per rack. With 36 glasses per rack, the LXn can wash between 1,224 and 1,728 glasses per hour.
The Advansys model cleans dishes using high-temperature water and has three cycle options: light, normal, or heavy, which is also NSF pot-and-pan certified. Additionally, the Advansys models feature steam elimination and energy recovery, a Sense-A-Temp booster heater that produces a 70-degree-Fahrenheit rinse, an automatic delime cycle, snap-in rinse arms, and clogged arm notification. The entire wash and rinse cycle uses 5/8 gallons of water per rack. Depending on the chosen setting, the Advansys model has cycle times of 119 to 278 seconds and can wash between 13 to 30 racks per hour— as many as 750 dishes per hour or 1,080 glasses per hour.
CLeN Conveyor Type Dishwashers
The most heavy duty of the ENERGY STAR Hobart dishwashers, Hobart CLeN conveyor dishwashers can clean 202 racks per hour with as little as 5/8 gallons of water per rack, equaling 5,050 dishes per hour and 7,272 glasses per hour. Available with left-to-right or right-to-left conveying options, the CLeN dishwasher is 681/2 inches tall and either 631/2 or 401/2 inches wide.
Additional features include a standard Opti-Rinse system, which sanitizes dishware with less rinse water, as well as large, hinged doors for easier cleaning, Hobart's exclusive Rapid Return conveyor drive mechanism, low temperature alert, delime notification, anti-clogging wash arms, hot water or low temperature final rinse options, and vent fan and booster heater controls.
