MoTak MDC18-X Description
Holding product at temperatures between -10 and -5 degrees Fahrenheit, the MoTak MDC18-X ice cream freezer operates with environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Its stainless steel top is equipped with a viewing window to enable product visibility, and LED interior lighting further improves product visibility. Featuring four racks, it accommodates (12) 3-gallon ice cream tubs. To facilitate transportation, it’s mounted on 3-inch swivel casters, and overall, this unit measures 47 inches wide by 27.75 inches deep by 52.25 inches deep.
To offer defense against corrosion, the MoTak MDC18-X ice cream dipping cabinet’s interior and exterior are white aluminum. Operators can adjust the temperature with a precise electronic controls system, and it includes ice cream tub holders with night covers. To simplify cleaning and maintenance, this unit’s condenser coil is accessible.

Uneven temperature in cabinet
The tops of our 3 gallon ice cream tubs are too soft so we adjust the temperature of the cabinet. Dropping the temp makes the bottom portion of the bin too difficult to scoop. The inside of the ice cream cabinet stays too warm where the plastic flip lid connects and lets too much air in, causing excessive frost and ice every week. Not happy with this cabinet.
