The Koolaire KYP0500A-161/K570 ice maker comes with a bin that has a 532-pound application capacity. Its exterior is finished with a material that is resistant to corrosion and looks like stainless steel, and its interior is constructed of polyethylene, which resists water. To retain cold air and keep ice from melting quickly, the door of the bin is insulated with foam. Its stay-open design ensures the door remains open while the user is scooping ice.
The KYP0500A-161/K570 ice maker with bin features an air-cooled, self-contained condenser to facilitate maintenance. It produces as much as 521 pounds of half-size ice cubes, and its accessible food zone features white plastic to indicate areas that need cleaning. The exterior of the ice maker has a corrosion-resistant finish that looks like stainless steel. This unit sits on four adjustable legs and comes with an ice scoop and holder.
