Koolaire KYP0420A/K420 Description
The Koolaire KYP0420A/K420 half-cube ice maker with bin can store 383 pounds of ice. An 82-ounce scoop is provided, and a built-in holder keeps the scoop out of the ice so that it stays sanitary. Resembling stainless steel, the exterior finish resists fingerprints and rusting, and its black side panels match the ice maker. This bin has an insulated door that keeps ice frozen and reduces condensation buildup, and when users are scooping, it can be propped up. Adjustable legs provide enough space underneath for cleaning.
If outside conditions are ideal, the Koolaire KYP0420A/K420 ice machine with bin can produce 450 pounds of half-cube ice a day. Since this ice type cools drinks quickly, it is perfect for soft drinks and blending into smoothies. With its air-cooled condenser, the machine uses fans to chill refrigerant as it flows away from the evaporator. Areas that come into contact with ice and water are collectively called the food zone and are sealed to eliminate the risk of trapped debris. White plastic parts make up this area, which enables staff to spot dirt and slime. By removing two screws and the lift-off door, the user can conveniently access the internal food zone components.
