Koolaire KDT1700A/K970 Description
The Koolaire KDT1700A/K970 full-cube ice maker with bin can hold 882 pounds of ice and keep it frozen for hours with an insulated door. This door can be propped open when scooping so that it cannot fall on the user. Like stainless steel, its exterior is resistant to fingerprints, and its black side panels color coordinate with the ice machine. An 82-ounce scoop with a built-in holder is included to keep the ice from becoming contaminated. Each of its four legs can be adjusted to various heights.
The Koolaire KDT1700A/K970 ice machine with bin can make 1,800 pounds of full-cube ice daily, depending on the ambient air and incoming water temperatures. Full-cube ice does not cool drinks quickly, but it melts slowly and is great for alcoholic beverages. Its condensing unit is air cooled, so it uses fans to pull in air and then blow it across the condenser.
