The Koolaire KDP1000A-261/K970/K00470 full-cube ice machine with bin can store 882 pounds of ice and is equipped with an 82-ounce scoop for serving. To store the scoop away from the ice, a holder is built into the interior. On the bin's exterior, a finish that is similar to stainless steel resists smudges and corrosion, and its black side panels match the ice machine. This bin has an insulated door that props open and keeps ice cold for hours by reducing condensation buildup. To add height and stability on uneven floors, all four legs are adjustable.
With proper ambient air and incoming water temperatures, the Koolaire KDP1000A-261/K970/K00470 ice maker with bin can produce 846 pounds of full-cube ice daily. This ice measures 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch and chills drinks more slowly than half-cube ice. Its exterior looks and feels like stainless steel, and its food zone—areas that come into contact with ice and water—is sealed to keep dirt and debris from collecting. Dirty areas stand out in the food zone since it has white plastic parts. This area can be disassembled for cleaning by removing two screws and the lift-off door. Most other internal components can be removed without tools.
