Hobart HCM450-62 Description
The Hobart HCM450-62 tilt mixer utilizes an effective construction to ensure its dual-bladed knife consistently spins at 1,140 rotations per minute, slicing through carrots, onions, and potatoes. It's powered by a five-horsepower engine, which receives electricity through its 6-foot cord. It also has a timer built-in that can be set as high as 5 minutes. When the timer expires, it can be set to either stop its blades entirely or allow them to keep spinning slowly to keep products from solidifying. When not in use, users can lift its lid up to activate its safety interlock, ensuring the unit won't start during cleaning and cause accidental injuries.
Because of the unit’s floor model design, the Hobart HCM450-62 cutter mixer utilizes a tilt bowl design, ensuring users can retrieve processed vegetables and dough from its 45-quart bowl without having to move the unit. Its body and bowl are made of stainless steel, with its bowl being covered in a hinged, clear Lexan lid. The unit rests on four legs that have rubber feet to keep scuffs from appearing on the floor. For removing unwanted liquid from processed order, it comes with a poly straining vessel.
