Hobart HCM450-61 Description
Designed with a 45-quart capacity, the Hobart HCM450-61 cutter mixer works best for processing chopped and diced foods in large quantities. Foods are supported in the stainless steel bowl with a pouring lip, and the unit can be simply turned on with start/stop push-button switches. It's equipped with a 5-horsepower motor that moves in 1,140 rotations per minute, suiting it for heavy-duty operations. To support different operational needs, it has a 5-minute timer with jog and hold settings for versatility. A clear Lexan® polycarbonate bowl cover is supported by a stainless steel support bar to keep it in place and prevent product from spilling out during use.
The Hobart HCM450-61 cutter mixer is equipped with electromechanical safety interlocks that only enables the machine to operate when the bowl cover is closed and secured in place. If it's tilted more than 20 degrees, it'll stop the unit for user safety. When it's not in use, the bowl can be tilted as much as 90 degrees with a lever, simplifying pouring and product removal. This structure is also easy to reach into for cleaning. To support different needs, this unit comes with stainless steel mixing baffles with a pour-through center shaft, a cut-mix attachment, a knead-mix attachment, and a strainer basket.
