To ground food waste into drainable particles, the Hobart FD4/125-3 garbage disposer's stationary shredder ring features four machine-ground primary-action breaker bars and 42 secondary-action grinding teeth. Its continuous-duty motor features a manual-reset thermal overload inherent protector to prevent damage, while its permanently lubricated ball bearings improve performance and reduce maintenance needs.
The Hobart FD4/125-3 commercial garbage disposal's grind and discharge housings are made of heavy aluminum to provide long-term durability and corrosion resistance. This 11-inch-diameter by 221⁄2-inch-high unit can be mounted to a 7-inch I.D. throat-opening cone and features a vinyl isolating ring that prevents metal-to-metal contact. For simple cleaning and part replacement, its two hardened ductile stainless steel cutter blocks can be removed.
