The True TWT-48-HC~SPEC3 Spec Series® worktop refrigerator is made of stainless steel with the top and backsplash made of a single piece to stop bacteria and food from falling beneath the unit. The polyurethane-insulated cabinet includes coved corners for swift cleaning and 3-inch castors for mobility. The unit is ADA-compliant with a 34-inch surface height. The two 20-gauge doors are lockable and self-closing with a 90-degree, stay-open feature. These doors swing within the cabinet dimensions and their magnetic gaskets are removable without tools for prompt maintenance.

The four shelves included with the True TWT-48-HC~SPEC3 worktop refrigerator are constructed of PVC-coated, heavy-duty wire and are adjustable in 1⁄2-inch increments. For complete corrosion resistance, the included shelf clips are made of plated chrome and the support pilasters are made of durable stainless steel. The high-capacity refrigeration unit can hold temperatures at 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the cabinet. The capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which has zero ozone depletion potential and three global warming potential. Electronically commutated fan motors provide consistent airflow with little heat production and energy use. The condensing unit is in the back for quick access.

To improve the condensing coil’s overall operation, the reverse condensing fan motor technology’s automatic 20-second mechanism helps removed settled dust and dirt to maintain a clean coil surface. For consistent results, it blows air in reverse each time the compressor cycles on. Though it can lengthen the unit’s lifespan and reduce energy usage, this technology should not replace regular preventive maintenance.
