Because of its 34-inch work height, the True TWT-48-HC worktop refrigerator is ADA compliant. It combines a stainless steel prep countertop with a refrigerated base—where four adjustable, PVC-coated shelves hold stored items. For durability, the interior liner is made of aluminum and finished with a clear coat, and its floor is constructed of stainless steel with coved corners to streamline cleaning. The two doors have a stay-open design past 90 degrees, and at less than that, they self-close to retain cold air.

This True TWT-48-HC worktop refrigerator has a temperature range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, which the operator can set depending on the application. The guided airflow pattern evenly moves air throughout the cabinet, and because the fans have electronically commutated motors, they save energy and reduce heat production. If the refrigeration system malfunctions, operators can access the condenser from the back by sliding it out.

To keep the condensing oil clean and prevent it from being overworked, the compressor’s fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning function. For 20 seconds each cycle, it runs in reverse to blow away settled debris and dust from the coil. This mechanism, when employed alongside regular preventive maintenance, can improve performance and lengthen the unit’s lifespan.
