The top is made of stainless steel with a one-piece construction and an integrated backsplash, eliminating crevices that could trap bacteria and food. In the cabinet, two coated shelves made of wire that has gaps to promote complete, even air circulation hold product.

Coated and made of aluminum, the interior is resistant to corrosion and can be wiped clean. The floor is constructed of stainless steel—a material that resists rusting and increases strength. Coved corners in the floor prevent debris from getting trapped and harboring bacteria. The door is durable, with a stainless steel exterior and a clear aluminum interior liner. It self-closes to retain cold air and stays open past 90 degrees to ease product stocking.

Operators can set the temperature in the True TWT-27-HC worktop refrigerator as low as 33 degrees Fahrenheit, as high as 38 degrees Fahrenheit, or at any level between. The refrigeration system maintains these cold temperatures with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—a refrigerant that is more environmentally friendly than traditional alternatives. Cold air is sent around the cabinet evenly with the guided airflow pattern.

To optimize performance by maintaining a clean condensing coil, the condensing fan motor reverses for 20 seconds after the compressor cycles on to blow away settled dust and debris. A clean condensing coil operates more efficiently and reduces energy consumption.
