True Refrigeration TUC-48-HC~SPEC3 ADA Description
The energy-efficient refrigeration system in the True TUC-48-HC~SPEC3 undercounter freezer provides uniform product temperatures using guided airflow. Its condensing unit slides out from behind the cabinet for expedited maintenance. The evaporator and condenser fan motors are electronically commutated to generate less heat and reduce energy consumption. The four wire shelves are coated in heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant PVC. To suit any application, the shelves are adjustable in 1⁄2-inch increments.
This True TUC-48-HC~SPEC3 undercounter freezer has a self-contained capillary tube system that uses R290 hydrocarbon, an environmentally friendly refrigerant. Its refrigeration system maintains cabinet temperatures of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and operators can set the level on the electronic control. Though not functioning as a replacement for routine preventive maintenance, the fan compressor’s self-cleaning feature improves overall performance and optimizes efficiency. At the start of each cycle, the motor directs air in reverse for a 20 second period; this blows away any debris or dust that may have collected on the condensing coil since the last cycle.
