The True TUC-27-HC-LP undercounter refrigerator is constructed of stainless steel on its exterior sides, front, and top; this material provides strength and corrosion resistance. The interior has a clear-coated aluminum liner that is effortless to clean. Made of stainless steel, the interior floor is durable, and its coved corners facilitate cleaning. In the cabinet, two wire shelves hold items and facilitate even air circulation. The shelves are coated with PVC for corrosion resistance and can be adjusted to accommodate different items. The unit's doors are self-closing to retain cold air and they stay open at 90 degrees for cabinet stocking.

This True TUC-27-HC-LP one-section undercounter refrigerator operates at temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The level can be adjusted by the operator to suit different applications. Fan motors in the unit are electronically commutated to reduce energy use and heat production. The refrigeration system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional options.

To improve performance by keeping the condensing coil clean, the compressor’s fan motor reverses for 20 seconds each time it starts up to blow away buildup. When utilized in tandem with routine preventive maintenance, this feature lengthens the unit’s lifespan and reduces energy consumption.
