This True TUC-27D-2-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator has two drawers that each accept one full-size food pan measuring 12 inches long by 20 inches wide by 6 inches deep. Other pan sizes can fit inside with adapter bars, but both pans and adapters are sold separately. Constructed of stainless steel, the drawers are durable and have all-metal handles that provide a comfortable grip. The drawers are on sturdy rollers and slides that enable smooth operation, while the interior and exterior of this unit are made of stainless steel to facilitate cleaning and provide durability. Its worktop is 16-gauge thickness and does not extend beyond the drawers.

Maintaining a set temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, the True TUC-27D-2-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator has a digital display on the front that shows the temperature. Cold air is produced with capillary tubes, R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and fans. To keep contents consistently cooled, large fan blades move air slowly through the interior. Reducing energy consumption and optimizing performance, the compressor’s fan motor automatically removes buildup from the condensing coil. It runs in reverse for 20 seconds during every cycle, blowing away dust, dirt, and debris. While this function improves efficiency and lengthens the unit’s lifespan, routine preventive maintenance is still required. Polyurethane foam creates a dense barrier to prevent heat from moving into the cabinet, and gaskets line the drawer openings, forming an airtight seal.
