This TUC-27-HC~SPEC3 Spec series undercounter refrigerator has a 34-inch working height that complies with ADA guidelines and is short enough to slide under a countertop. Constructed of 16-gauge stainless steel, the top of this unit is durable for storing equipment or working on. Its front edge is flush with the door, and a heavy-duty metal handle extends from the front for comfortable opening. To prevent spoilage, the door is self-closing and strongly seals shut with magnetic gaskets. The interior is made of stainless steel, which is quick to wipe down, and the PVC-coated shelves are removable to fit various products.

A digital display on front of the TUC-27-HC~SPEC3 undercounter refrigerator provides a fast way to monitor the internal temperature, and operators can adjust the temperature settings between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit so it is at the desired level. Cold air is circulated through the cabinet with fans and held inside with dense polyurethane insulation, which fills the walls and door for energy efficiency.

Lengthening the unit’s lifespan, it employs a self-cleaning function that keeps the condensing coil free of debris. Upon start up, the compressor’s fan motor reverses for 20 seconds; this blows dust and dirt off the coil to prevent buildup and reduce energy consumption. While this function doesn’t replace routine preventive maintenance, it improves overall efficiency.
