True Refrigeration TSSU-48-08-HC Description

For durability and versatility, the True TSSU-48-08-HC sandwich and salad prep table has a stainless steel construction and a countertop pan opening for storing ingredients. To hold and prep ingredients, eight sixth-size food pans and a full-length polyethylene cutting board are included, and the cutting board can be efficiently removed for cleaning and sanitizing. Its interior lining is constructed of aluminum with a clear coat, while the stainless steel floor has coved corners, which do not gather debris.

Each stainless steel door has a 12-in. recessed handle that is firmly attached with a metal sheet interlock, and a seal is created around the door with a one-piece, magnetic door gasket, which removes for cleaning. The doors have a 90-degree, stay-open feature that holds them open past 90 degrees to facilitate product stocking, and if left open less than 90 degrees, the doors will close to reduce cool-air loss.

The refrigeration system used in the True TSSU-48-08-HC prep table is oversized and factory-balanced for efficient operation with low run times, and heavy-duty refrigeration is provided by a sealed, self-lubricating fan motor and a corrosion-resistant, epoxy-coated evaporator. When maintenance is needed, the condenser pulls out from the cabinet's back for convenient access. Using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, the self-contained capillary tube system maintains a set holding temperature between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit.

When regular maintenance is implemented alongside the unit's automatic cleaning feature, its lifespan and efficiency is increased. The reverse condensing fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds when the compressor turns on, blowing dust away from the condensing coil. To keep product cold, this mechanism ensures proper product temperatures.
