True Refrigeration T-23F-HC Description
The True T-23F-HC LH reach-in freezer has a single section for holding frozen foods, with a stainless steel cabinet that is durable and corrosion resistant. Polyurethane insulation retains cold air and provides cabinet structure, while the solid stainless steel door is hinged on the left side of the cabinet to better accommodate workflow. Magnetic gaskets create a positive seal so cold air will not escape.
The refrigeration system is bottom mounted, lifting the lowest shelf so users do not have to stoop to reach products. This position simplifies servicing and cleaning the main components, and a constant temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit is maintained with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Airflow is kept from being blocked by products with an airflow guard. High-volume airflow is created to provide quick temperature recovery, and an epoxy-coated evaporator on the True T-23F-HC LH reach-in freezer resists corrosion.
The condensing coil is kept clean using a reverse condensing fan motor. Upon compressor start up, the fan motor reverses direction for 20 seconds to blow dirt and dust off the coil. When implemented with routine maintenance, this feature helps extend the unit's commercial lifespan.
