Full doors on the front and back of the True STA2RPT-2S-2G-HC two-section reach-in refrigerator make it a pass-thru unit, enabling access from either side. The front doors are made of stainless steel and the rear doors are double-pane, thermal-insulated glass. If a door is accidentally left open, it will self-close, but will stay open past 120 degrees for stocking. Locks on the doors help prevent tampering and theft, while their gaskets seal in cold air.

Stored items in the cabinet sit on chrome-plated shelves—each section has three—and their wire design encourages uniform airflow throughout the cabinet. Illuminated by LED lighting, items in the cabinet are visible. The floor and ceiling in the refrigerator are easy to clean since they are made of stainless steel, and the rest of the interior is constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum. Insulation is foamed in place in the unit, retaining cold air and adding cabinet structure.

Mounted on top in the True STA2RPT-2S-2G-HC two-section pass-thru refrigerator, the refrigeration system is separated from floor debris and dirt but operates in a warmer area of the kitchen than a bottom-mounted unit. The temperature ranges from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and operators can set the temperature on the electronic controller and monitor it on the external display. Its uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—a more energy efficient option than traditional refrigerants.

Ensuring the condensing coil is kept clean, the condensing fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds each time the compressor turns on. This automatic feature blows away excess dust, dirt, and debris, improving product temperatures and reducing energy consumption. For best results, maintenance should be implemented regularly.
