The Wells SS-206TDU drop-in food warmer is designed with Wellslocks™ to facilitate setup in a metal counter. It is made of stainless steel, so it resists corrosion and supports wet operation. If used wet, water in the bottom becomes steam, evenly heating food in the pan above. However, this setup requires continuous monitoring to verify the water isn’t depleted.

At closing time, any water left in the well can be removed. To prevent rust and bacterial growth, the interior is smooth without sharp corners that can trap particulates. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and can be wiped clean. This Wells SS-206TDU in-counter food well has quick-to-heat tubular heating elements and thermostatic controls that keep the temperature at the correct level. If heat gets dangerously high, the unit shuts off to prevent permanent damage.
