Wells SS-206D Description
The Wells SS-206D drop-in food well features a deep-drawn interior created from a single metal sheet that is punched into the desired shape, resulting in a smooth, creaseless surface. This smooth interior can be drained of water and its stainless steel construction provides the necessary corrosion resistance. The interior can hold a single full-size pan of food, which must be purchased separately.
Tubular heating elements in this Wells SS-206D in-counter food well warm food without cooking it. Its infinite controls can be adjusted to accommodate the food, heating it to the correct level. The well can be used dry or wet and, if used wet, the interior tends to heat more evenly. However, this setup also requires constant monitoring and refilling to ensure the water doesn't run out.
