Manitowoc Ice K00338 Description
The Manitowoc K-00338 replacement water filter cartridge is designed for use with an AR-10000 water filter assembly (sold separately). The sanitary quick-change housing protects the system from contamination while the cartridge is being changed. This cartridge is designed to reduce scale and particulates that can damage the ice machine, as well as chemicals like chlorine and hydrogen sulfide that can impact the taste of the ice. The replacement water filter cartridge has a 14,000-gallon lifetime water capacity and provides 1-micron particle reduction.

Great Filter
This filter turns our beach town water into bottled water quality. We use it with our Manitowoc ice maker plus we have a spigot in the bar for making coffee, tea, and drinks. The ice is always sparkling clear and the drinks are tasty. No filter lifespan problems here.

Filter installs easy but has short life span. Our filters last around 5 weeks and requires replacement. Our facility has village water but contunues to have problems with this filter. Does not live up to the filter specifications listed.

This filter only lasts about 3-4 months instead of 6 months as advertised, but I still give good review because it may be due to bad water?? Seems like manufacturer would take into consideration though when giving life span.
