Manitowoc Ice IYP0500W/D400 Description
The Manitowoc IYP0500W/D-400 Indigo NXT™ ice machine and bin has a DuraTech® clear coat over its stainless steel exterior to maintain a clean look. An insulated door retains cold air and has side grips to enhance lifting. A latch keeps the door open to simplify scooping. An ice scoop comes with the unit and has a knuckle guard to prevent hands from contacting and contaminating ice. A holder keeps the scoop out of the ice to further protect it from contaminants.
The head can make 509 pounds of ice, while the bin can hold 365 pounds. Production can be set to a specific time of day or how much ice is in the bin. Ice thickness is measured before it is released from the evaporator plate to ensure it is correct. The Manitowoc IYP0500W/D-400 ice machine and bin uses a touchscreen control panel with icons.
