For consistent operation, the Manitowoc Ice IYF0300W/D570 half-cube ice maker with bin runs preventive maintenance and diagnostics 24 hours a day. Since the exterior is coated with DuraTech™, it is unlikely to smudge when touched and it resists corrosion. When the components need cleaning, the water trough, curtain, sensing probe, and distribution tube can be removed, while a special antimicrobial agent prevents bacteria from building up. The icon-based touchscreen empowers users to program the ice volume and off times to get the needed results.
To keep user hands out of the ice, the Manitowoc Ice IYF0300W/D570 Indigo NXT™ half-cube ice maker with bin includes a scooping handle with a knuckle-and-thumb guard. The bin's door has side grips to support opening from any direction and it does not slam shut on the user once open. The door is positioned at 53 degrees for accessible ice, even at the bottom of the bin. The bin is lined with polyurethane Artic Blue liner—a material that accentuates ice for quick scooping.
