The Manitowoc Ice IDP0420W-161/D320 ice maker and bin has a 442-pound daily production capacity and 264-pound storage capacity. Operators can adjust ice production and program it to fit a desired volume or time of day. Each ice cycle is measured for thickness by an acoustical probe, ensuring the cubes are consistent. Using the unit is simple with a touchscreen display, and it runs preventive maintenance for 24 hours.
A foam-insulated bin door on this Manitowoc Ice IDP0420W-161/D320 ice maker and bin keeps cold air contained to slow the melting process. A latch holds the door open when employees scoop ice with the included 5.3-pound-capacity scoop. Built-in knuckle and thumb guards on the scoop prevent hands from contacting ice.
