Southbend HDG-36 Description
Because the cooking plate on the Southbend HDG-36 gas griddle is 1 inch thick, the piece resists warping as it continuously heats up and cools down, while also retaining heat better than thin plates. Splash panels surround the cooking surface on three sides, catching food debris and grease splatter. The unit is 36 inches wide, and for every 12 inches, a separate burner provides heat. These burners are thermostatically controlled with a temperature range from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, while a thermostat is embedded in the griddle to monitor the temperature and adjust the burner heat based on any changes.
- Polished, warp-resistant rolled steel griddle plate is 1-in. thick to retain heat
- 4-in. side and 5-in. rear splash panels ease cleanup by containing splatter
- Heat pattern ensures the plate heats evenly without cold spots
