Southbend 4361D-1G Description


The Southbend 4361D-1G 36-inch natural gas restaurant range offers a capable cooktop, with four 33,000-BTU burners and a 12-inch wide griddle. The ports on each of the burners have been designed to resist clogging for the life of the unit, potentially eliminating some costly service calls. The burners are each topped by a 12-inch square grate made of cast iron that should stand up to many years of commercial usage and can hold a 14-inch stock pot. The griddle, located on the left side of the 27-inch deep cooktop, is made with a 12-inch, cold-rolled steel plate that is stronger and harder than hot-rolled steel plates. The entire cooktop is lit by a standing pilot and is backed by a 2212 flue riser that includes a heavy-duty shelf great for keeping frequently used ingredients close at hand.

Below the cooktop is a standard oven that is wide enough and deep enough to fit a full-size food pan both front-to-back and side-to-side. Its battery spark ignition system lights burners capable of producing a maximum 45,000 BTU and the unit includes one rack that can be used at either of two positions. The double-sided porcelain oven interior helps retain heat and, together with the coved corners, make the Southbend 4361D-1G easier to keep clean.
