FWE E-480 Description
The FWE E-480 meal delivery cart has a single door that swings open 270 degrees to facilitate loading and unloading the cabinet. With its durable stainless steel construction, this unit will stand up to high-volume use without corroding or sustaining dents and scratches. Because it's positioned on 6-inch casters, employees can comfortably guide it between patients' rooms with recessed handles. This unit can hold 40 uncovered plates or 48 plates with covers.
The four shelves in the FWE E-480 meal delivery cart offer plenty of storage space. Its cabinet is fully insulated so warm air isn't lost, and it uses a baffle to ensure uniform heating whether a plate is positioned on the top or the bottom. If a power source is available, the unit warms with forced air, but if not, a slide-out drawer provides a spot for canned heat. The temperature can be adjusted with a full-range thermostat.
