Vulcan VWT36S Description
Built to support V Series cooking suites, the Vulcan VWT36S spreader plate with standard oven base provides a 36-inch-wide work surface and enclosed baking functionality. This unit is equipped with a 16-gauge stainless steel top and reinforces the front, front top ledge, sides, base, burner box, and stub back with stainless steel to match adjacent components. A 4-inch stainless steel stub riser is mounted to the back of the unit to help deflect radiant heat from walls, while the base sits on 6-inch adjustable stainless steel legs to level the unit on uneven floors.
Located beneath the cooktop, the Vulcan VWT36S standard oven base's porcelain-lined interior includes the bottom, sides, and interior door panel, and the oven cavity is equipped with one rack that can be positioned at three rack levels. The thermostatic controls adjust temperatures between 175 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit, and the heavy-duty oven door opens smoothly on counterweight hinges. A millivolt pilot ignition system supports safe startup, and the unit connects via a 1 1⁄4-inch front gas manifold with a capped rear outlet.
