Vulcan VTC24B Description
To create appetizing grill lines when cooking chicken and steak, the Vulcan VTC24B gas range features a 24-inch-wide charbroiler with two 11-inch-wide by 25-inch-deep stainless steel cooking grids. Each cooking grid is equipped with a 22,000-BTU patented infrared burner system with direct-ignition piezo spark igniters. As natural gas warms the stainless steel infrared emitter panels, the panels radiate high heat to the cooking grids, uniformly distributing heat to minimize cold spots and flareups. Users can control the gas pressure for each burner with the two high-heat heat control valve. So foods with contrasting cooking requirements can be grilled simultaneously on the same surface, both grids have individual chrome burner control knobs. The full-width stainless steel crumb tray collects debris during cooking and can be removed to ease cleanup between uses.
The Vulcan VTC24B heavy-duty range measures 24 inches wide by 363⁄4 inches deep by 36 inches tall to conserve space in compact kitchens. To minimize rocking or wobbling on bumpy or irregular surfaces, its 6-inch legs can be raised or lowered. The unit's front, front top ledge, burner box, sides, base, and stub back are made of durable, simple-to-clean, and corrosion-resistant stainless steel that's capable of surviving long-term back-of-house use. For convenient storage of cookware, spices, flour, oil, and utensils, the base features a cabinet with universal rack guides and one removable shelf. A hinged stainless steel door conceals the base to secure stored contents in place and maintain a safe workstation.
