Vulcan VCRG48-T Description
The Vulcan VCRG48-T gas griddle has a 1-inch-thick, polished steel plate with four U-shaped burners placed every 12 inches, providing even heating across the surface. A mechanical, snap action thermostat is embedded in each burner for efficient heating and quick recovery time. The temperature can be adjusted from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
There is one pilot for every two burners, helping reduce gas use. If the pilot is extinguished, the safety shuts off gas flow to the pilot and burners. Grease splashes and other messes are contained with tapered side splashes. Grease is directed to a 41⁄2-quart can through a stainless steel grease trough. The Vulcan VCRG48-T gas griddle is durable for commercial settings with a fully-welded steel frame and stainless steel construction on the front, sides, and front top ledge. Thanks to a conversion kit, operators can make this natural gas unit compatible with LP gas instead.
