Vulcan VCCG48-IS Description
Powered by natural gas, the Vulcan VCCG48-IS VCCG countertop griddle uses electronic spark ignition with pilot protection to disable fuel flow if the flame extinguishes. Its stainless steel body incorporates 4-inch back and tapered side splashes around the 48-inch by 24-inch plate, defending nearby equipment from oil spray and food particles. Elevated on 4-inch adjustable legs, it avoids rocking or tilting and measures 48 inches wide by 33 1⁄10 inches deep by 18 4⁄5 inches high.
The Vulcan VCCG48-IS griddle has a front grease trough that feeds into a single drawer to stop grease from pooling on the cooktop. To reduce contact with pans, towels, and utensils, the individual solid state thermostats feature wire knob guards. The four IRX™ infrared burners yield 96,000 BTUs and operate between 200 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit for zone-specific cooking.
