Powered by natural gas, the Vulcan VCBB18 heavy-duty charbroiler range can output 49,000 BTUs per hour. Its three burners each have separate pilots and controls so staff can modify the heat of different sections. Char radiants built above the burners absorb and radiate heat toward the top, while the supercharger burner dividers establish a uniform heat distribution. The sloped, heavy-duty cast iron grates let fat drip off meat during cooking and minimize flare-ups. These grates can be removed for thorough cleaning between uses.

To save floor space, the Vulcan VCBB18 V-series range sports a modular base with adjustable 4-inch flanged feet, enabling placement on equipment stands or countertops. This 18-inch-wide by 36³⁄₄-inch-deep by 17¹⁵⁄₁₆-inch-tall unit's front, front top ledge, sides, base, stub back, and feet are made of stainless steel—a rugged metal that resists rusting, denting, and scratching through high-volume use and matches other pieces of equipment.
