Vulcan VC44GD Description
For a reliable startup each time, the Vulcan VC44GD convection oven uses an electronic spark igniter, and in each section, a 50,000-BTU burner provides heat, while a 1⁄2-horsepower blower distributes that heat around the oven. It operates at two speeds—high for sturdy product and low for delicate product. The temperature is adjustable from 150 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and for consistency, solid-state temperature controls accurately maintain the set temperature. Employees can keep track of the cook time using the 60-minute timers and can check on product through the double-pane door windows.
Built with stainless steel components, this Vulcan VC44GD convection oven can withstand the abuse of a commercial kitchen. Its cabinet is insulated for structural strength, and the doors are made of one piece, reducing the likelihood of breakage. At the end of the day, employees can flip the cooling switches and open the doors so fans will quickly push heat out of the interior. Then, they can remove the racks and wipe out any food and debris.

"We use this oven in our busy college town cafe. We bake soft pretzels throughout the day from 8 AM to 3PM. We use the oven too to bake 6 different kinds of muffins and 4 different kinds of cookies. With baking gluten free products, we like the flexibility a 2nd oven gives to us (double convection). Also with baking soft pretzels all day, we can use the top oven for those, and the bottom oven for muffins, cookies, etc."
