Temperature—displayed in Fahrenheit or Celsius—in the Traulsen G10002P one-section pass-thru refrigerator can be set on a level between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit by using the digital microprocessor controller. R290 refrigerant is metered by a thermostatic expansion valve based on temperature. This system is ideal for high-demand applications where the doors are opened often.

Doors on the front and back of the refrigerator create a pass-thru design, often used to connect the kitchen to serving areas. These doors are half the size of standard full doors—reducing cold air loss when one is opened—and self-close to retain cold air, while staying open at 120 degrees so operators can stock the cabinet. Gaskets in the doors seal them to the frame to minimize cold air leaks. These gaskets are designed to resist damage from chemical cleaners, showing dirt so users know when to clean them.

Inside the Traulsen G10002P pass-thru refrigerator, three wire shelves hold stored items. Because the shelves are epoxy-coated, they resist corrosion and increase the cabinet's durability. Clockwise airflow evenly distributes cold air, and to prevent users from overloading the interior, guards at the side walls keep product out of the airflow path. Interior lighting provides visibility so users can see the stored items. Made completely of metal, the unit is durable to support heavy use and mounted on 6-inch casters that lock in place when necessary.
