Shun VB0740 Description

The straight edge on the Shun VB0740 santoku knife supports clean cuts through vegetables, cheese, and prepared meats. Measuring 5 1⁄2 inches long, the blade is sized for mid-range prep tasks and offers maneuverability for smaller hands or tight workspaces. Constructed of proprietary composite blade technology, the cutting edge features VG10 stainless steel supported by a 420J upper for durability. The handle is formed of a textured TPE blend and shaped to promote grip control. Tapering to a sheep’s foot tip, this knife is suited for precision cuts near the board. It belongs to the Sora series and features a stamped blade design.
