Ideal for bagel shops, the Vollrath CT4B-2081200 conveyor toaster specializes in one-sided toasting. After slicing bagels or buns in half, users place the sliced bread on the 10¹⁄₂-inch-wide conveyor, which can fit a maximum of two slices. Quartz heaters and forced convection toasting work together to uniformly toast the bread products' crowns and sides for warm, crunchy results. Able to toast as many as 1,200 bagel or bun halves per hour, the toaster works best for high-volume operations.

During slow periods, the Vollrath CT4B-2081200 conveyor bun and bagel toaster can slip into standby mode to prevent energy loss by roughly 75 percent. Once toasting time has begun again, it can easily reheat. Problem-free operation stems from high-quality components inside the toaster, such as the low-maintenance drive system and bearings. Neither require lubrication, which saves time for the operator. For good serviceability, thermoplastic terminal blocks use stainless steel clamps to ensure an electrical connection throughout use. Insulated wiring fights dry rotting and cracking to prevent potential damage inside the toaster. If the toaster gets too hot, a fan control switch will automatically kick on and cool it.
