Vollrath CBGMD-36 Description
This Vollrath CBGMD-36 medium-duty gas charbroiler features a compact 359/10-inch size that maximizes use of small spaces. The body sits on 4-inch legs for stability that are adjustable by an inch for better ventilation and airflow. The easy-to-clean exterior is constructed of rust-, corrosion-, and damage-resistant stainless steel. The front of the body features knobs to adjust temperatures, and the pilot access hole lets employees adjust the intensity of the pilot light with a screwdriver.
The burners below the Vollrath CBGMD-36 gas charbroiler’s griddle are spaced 6 inches apart and work with a radiant heat element to evenly heat the griddle’s surface. This griddle plate is reversible, with one side featuring narrow channels to drain fat, while the other side is flatter and wider to cook delicate fish. This unit comes with adapter bars to elevate the griddle plate away from the heat for slow, gentle cooking. This unit is natural gas ready, but ships with a conversion kit for adaptation when needed.
