Vollrath CBGMD-24 Description
The burners of the Vollrath CBGMD-24 medium-duty charbroiler are placed every 6 inches for better coverage and are enhanced with a radiant element on top, promoting even heat transfer to the above griddle (note the lava rock setup is sold separately). The griddle is reversible for cooking on either side of the plate, with one side featuring a narrow surface and other, wider side for preparing delicate foods like fish. With the assistance of the adapter bars, users can elevate the plates away from the heat for gentler cooking and reduced flareups.
This Vollrath CBGMD-24 gas charbroiler features metal knobs that enable users to adjust the heat when needed. The pilot light, which ignites the burners, has a front access hole to adjust the intensity using a screwdriver. The 3-inch backsplash and side splashes catch hot grease spurts, while the removable grease tray collects excess grease. The unit’s stainless steel design is durable and resistant to corrosion, and the heavy-duty body sits on 4-inch legs.
